Capriana –Milestii Mici
Deaprture and a short visit to Capriana, the monastery located in picturesque Codri forest, which is the residence of the metropolitan bishop and the symbol of national revival.

Tipova-Orhei Vechi-Chateau Vartely
Departure to the north part of the country for visiting Tipova, one of the oldest cave monasteries in Moldova. On the way back, dinner in the rural pension "Casa din Lunca" which includes national Moldavian dishes, home-made wine and a little folklore program. After lunch, our tour continue with excursion to Orheiul Vechi region, visiting the unique cave monastery (13th cent.), carved in limestone rock - the part of the picturesque landscape. On the other side you can see still remained ruins of Geto-Dacian fortress. Return to Chisinau. Along the road you’ll have possibility to have visit with excursion "Chateau Vartely" .

Monasteries in Calaras (Hirbovat, Hirjauca)
Hirjauca Monastery
Hirjauca Monastery is situated in district Calarasi nearby the river with the same name. The researcher P.Crusevan says that the monastery was founded in 1740, and it a monastery of monks. It was founded nearby a spring with healing water in the forest on the nobleman Niculita’s estate. They built firstly wooden church with five towers named “Adormirea Maicii Domnului”.
During the time the monastery knows a lot of problems, but when the ruler Spiridon Filipovici lived here the place lives better times. A liitle bit later they have built the stone church for the winter time named Saint Spiridon. The architecture knows the traditonal moldavian style combined with classical Russian style.
Between 1953-1993 the monastery was closed by the sovietic authorietes and since 1954 becomes a sanatorium for childrens with disabilities. Hirjauca Monastery is always visited by the people who come to rest in the sanatorium . The ideal and amazing atmosphere makes the monastery to attract through its nature and calmness that release people’s hearts and delight their souls with peace and harmony.
Hirbovat Monastery
The monastery was found in 1780 by the noble man Constantin Carpuz, but according to some historians, it was found in XVII century by some cursory friars, coming from Bersan Monastery (Podolia). Until 1812, the monastery complex was three times sat on fire and ruined by Ottomans and Tatars, as consequence of the fire, the entire monastic registry was destroyed. A stone temple with the Holy Virgin Dormition festival is located in the monastic complex; it was found by the layman Stefan Lupu (later the monk – Serapion)
In 1992, after a trifling reparation and arrangement, the Holy Virgin Dormition temple for winter orations was hallowed. The tmple has a traditional rectangular plan. The steeple is situated above the threshold. It has a traditional plan: pronave, followed by a nave and altar. In the altar there is an iconostas dating from 1997, its icons being painted yet; the temple ceiling taking a cylindric shape, its brushwork is simple. There are various icons on the walls including the Saint Pantelemon icon with a piece of saint’s relic enframed into a six angle star; Saint Varvara icon and others.
On the way back there is a possibility to have lunch in rural restaurant Casa Parinteasca.

Causeni-Purcari Winery
In the morning transfer to Causeni, then visit of church (15 centuries) with the original architecture of the times of the tatar-mongolian yoke. After this we visit the Purcari’s Winery. Wine-tour of cellars and wine-tasting of 3 wine’s sorts, such as "Negru de Purcari" and "Rosu de Purcari, which were delivered to the Queen’s court. Lunch at the restaurant of Purcari’s Winery.
Return to Chisinau.
